We are seeking interns for our audit department who are interested in gaining practical, supervised experience in a Public Accounting Firm. We serve a variety of clients from owner-operated to middle-market companies as well as publicly traded companies in the North Texas area.
Qualifications:
- Must have completed or be currently enrolled in an intermediate accounting class.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to articulate complex ideas.
- Exceptional analytical and cognitive skills.
- Proven problem-solving and leadership skills and capacity to deal with ambiguity.
- Flexibility to work autonomously and serve as a member of a team.

- Handle multiple assignments simultaneously and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Driven by personal initiative and achievement of professional goal.
Responsibilities:
- Learning basic skills and exposure to:
- Working on various financial reporting and audit engagements
- Research
- Organizing work papers
- Special projects
- Cash flow projections
- Administrative: assist with processing, scanning, filing
- Interaction with personnel at all levels: admin, staff, seniors, managers, shareholders
- Some interaction with clients
